This past Saturday, May 11th, Life University held the Freestyle and Greco Individual State tournament. Wrestlers from all over the state, ranging from 8U to high school seniors, were in attendance. Top 4 placers in each weight class automatically qualified for Fargo this summer. Let’s take a deeper look at how the kids fared this weekend.

For the 14U boys team scores, we don’t like to add into account the Georgia category since the wrestlers who are representing GA are just unattached wrestlers who did not register under a club name. With taking that into account, Level Up Wrestling Center finished in 1st place out of the club teams with 57 total teams points. Level Up had 5 champions, 1 second place, and 1 third place finisher. Roundtree Wrestling Academy finished in 2nd place with 37 points. Roundtree finished this classification with 2 champions, 1 second place, and 1 third place finisher. Team Alpha Wrestling finished in 3rd place with 33 team points. Team Alpha Wrestling finished with 1 first, 1 second, 1 third, and 1 fifth place finisher. Lastly, Morris Fitness Wrestling Club rounds out the top 4 with 25 team pints. Morris Fitness had 2 champs and 1 sixth place finisher.
